Editorial Decision-Making Process - Initial Editorial Assessment
Within 10 business days of submission, the Editor-in-Chief or Associate Editor conducts an initial assessment considering:
• Alignment with journal scope and standards
• Methodological rigor and ethical compliance
• Potential contribution to the field
• Writing quality and clarity
Manuscripts may be desk-rejected without external review if they fail to meet basic criteria.
